First Panel for Native American Undergraduates on Graduate School and Career Paths — August 2021

    CSQC in partnership with UNC-Pembroke hosted a Zoom panel discussion for Native American undergraduates interested in learning about graduate school in STEM disciplines and career paths in STEM on August 17th. Four early career Native American scientists described their personal journeys in preparing for graduate school, their perspectives on the graduate school experience, and the next steps along their chosen career path. The panel consisted of Dr. Jesse Peltier (UC-Berkeley), Dr. Ranalda Tsosie (Montana State U.), Mr. Matt Maxwell (UCSD and Salk Institute), and Mr. Ivan Rajen UCSD).
