As a CRA/CCC Computing Innovation Fellow funded by NSF at University of California, Berkeley, Jesús will combine the computational chemistry methods employed at the CSQC with machine learning to study chemical reactivity in aqueous environments. Inspired by the center, Jesús aims to develop new ways for doing chemistry in the condensed phase driven by strong electric fields.
