Dr. Pallavi Bhattacharyya is a Software Research Scientist at Intel’s Technology Development group in Oregon. The goal of her research is to model light-matter interactions in extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and deep ultraviolet (DUV) regimes, and to apply the learnings towards the development of new photo-lithographic techniques that push the limits of the smallest dimension that can be printed on a silicon chip. Such technology is key to enhancing the computational power of next-generation microprocessors by increasing the density of transistors built into a silicon die.
